Program Overview
The course teaches concepts, approaches, techniques and tools for use within projects to achieve goals, deliver services, and meet targeted objectives. Participants will develop a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Project Management in the areas of: Project Planning Concepts, Work Breakdown Structures, Activity Network, Schedule Development, Risk Management, Communications Management, Project Delivery and Control and Closing a project
Students will have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and participate in a hands-on, computer based projectmanagement training simulation. In this experiential learning activity students apply what they learned in a thoroughly engaging exercise. The system provides immediate feedback and an insightful critique for each decision the team makes. Every participant leaves the training with enhanced project management skills which will improve their job performance the minute they return to their workplace.
